SIEMENS PCS7 FOR WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Due to revamping of a Petroleum refinery and by increasing refining capacity the customer constructed a new water treatment unit to achieve effluent water quality in order to reuse the water in the processing plant as make up for cooling towers and for reusing in demin unit.
We chose Siemen PCS7 technology for DCS of this oily water treatment plant .Siemens PCS7 is cost effective scalable solution for process control.
Our solution include central and local control of the main process units from Oily water treatment (API, Oily Waste DAF, Activated sludge, Clarification & Sand filters) to Pretreatment & RO (Reuse DAF, Self-cleaning filters, UF and RO trains) .
Overall control of oily water treatment plant was performed in central control system and a local control system built to control and supervise polyelectrolyte and centrifugal packages and pumps and mixer controlled and supervised by local boxes.
The system provided several benefits for this oily water treatment plant, including optimized process by remote and local control, better operation through different control level, improved energy efficiency.
